Beattie 2-4-0 well tank no.30587 approaching Dunster, 1 Oct 2005. This engine was built in 1874 for the London & South Western, for use on suburban passenger trains in the London area. It was one of three to survive into BR days at Wadebridge in Cornwall, where engines with light axle loading and short wheelbase were needed for use on the Wenford Bridge branch. It is now based in Cornwall at the Bodmin & Wenford line.
