No.8 backing onto its train at Aberystwyth, 28 Aug 2006. During the 1970s nos. 7, 8 & 9 on the Vale of Rheidol were the only steam engines ever to carry BR blue livery with the double arrow logo, happily no.8 has now been restored to GWR green. |
