6233 “Duchess of Sutherland” at Kidderminster, 21 Sep 2001. William Stanier’s Duchesses were an improved version of his “Princess Royal” class and many [but not this one] were fitted with a streamlined casing when built. All were de-streamlined in 1946/7.
