Stroudley “Terrier” no.3 Bodiam climbing towards Tenterden, 1 June 2006. A veteran of 1872, this engine was bought second hand from the London Brighton & South Coast Railway in 1901by the Rother Valley Railway, which later became the K&ESR. After nationalisation it became BR no.32670, still working on the KESR and later the Hayling Island branch. Withdrawn in 1963 it was saved from the scrapheap the following year.
