No.24 approaching Bodiam on 30 May 2005, past traditional oast houses which were used for drying hops. The area around Bodiam station was once the biggest hop farm in the country, owned by the Guinness brewery. Until the 1950s, hop pickers specials were run from London to stations on the KESR every year.
