Stroudley “Terrier” no. 8 Freshwater, built 1876, ran on the island between 1913 and 1949 when it was transferred to the Hayling Island branch on the mainland. Withdrawn in 1963 it ended up being used as a pub sign until returning to the Isle of Wight in 1979. Photographed at Havenstreet, 1 June 2004.
