63601 running round its train at Leicester North, 27 July 2002. The old station entrance, now bricked up,can be seen on the road bridge, from where a staircase would have led down to an island platform between the running lines. The old station was known as Belgrave & Birstall and was renamed Leicester North when it reopened in 1991.
