0-4-4 “Single Fairlie” Taliesin at Minffordd, 30 Apr 2005. The original Taliesin, built in 1876, was dismantled in the1930s, this is a rebuild completed in 1999 using parts from the original. While it looks like a conventional 4-4-0, the driving wheels are mounted on a pivoting bogie like the FR’s famous Double Fairlie engines.
