Austerity saddletank 68030 running through Cheddleton on 31 May 2003. This type of locomotive was designed by the Hunslet Engine Co. for the Ministry of Supply. The LNER bought 75 of them after the war and classified them J94. This one was supplied to the NCB in 1952 and later worked at Florence and Wolstanton collieries in North Staffs. After overhaul in 2002 it was painted in BR black and given a vacant number in the J94 series.
