Holy War, an 0-4-0 saddle tank built by Hunslet of Leeds in 1902 for use in the Dinorwic slate quarry at Llanberis. Holy War, named after a racehorse belonging to the quarry owner, worked at Dinorwic until 1967 when it became the last steam loco to work in a British slate quarry. Pictured at Llanuwchllyn shed before the start of the days train service on 29 Apr 2006.
