Battery powered  locomotive no.1, built at Stoke in 1917 for shunting at Thomas Bolton's Oakamoor copper works. It survived in service at Boltons until the works closed in 1963, being withdrawn and put into store by BR and subsequently preserved. It is on loan to the CVR from the National Railway Museum.
